pwned by a n00b!

I had and ART ATTACK!!! °_____O
I was drawing non-stop like mad since the beginning of april, then I found that the staff of the Ragnarok Online private server where I play (when I play) decided to held a contest of fanarts (about server's characters, monsters, game masters and blah...), and some design, so, since I was drawing a lot, I decided to give a try.
But some days before the deadline, I finished my pictures (they said max 2 entries and some stupid non clear rules), but suddenly my energy for drawing went down. I managed to finish those, and I still have no energy to finish my other pictures right now, I still have no idea what happened, maybe this is my health's fault again >_>

Ok, onto the "contest". I sent two entries and the day of the... Errr... Contest? The moderator posted the pictures. She said there were going to be 2 categories, Designs and Drawings.

What was my surprise when I found that my entry was sent to design! WTF! But, HEY!
The two categories were posted in the same thread (duh...?), so we could vote only once...
I am still thinking that she or they or whatever, thought that I stole my picture from somewhere, because... Oh, how can be possible that someone coul send a picture done in the computer!?

So, again, she deleted the thread and made two new ones but my picture stayed in the Design category ¬¬...
I sent a enquiry and asked why, but I got no answer and she just moved my picture to the Drawings cat, and I lost 3 votes. No, no, the poll was not restarted, I was just moved. And I sent two entries and I just found one!

Anyway, leaving modesty at home, I must admit that my entry was the most decent one, if we speak of technique and all that jazz. Mine and another picture of a crusader with a PecoPeco were the best pictures. This one was colored with color pencils.
Mine were the only one with digital coloring.

The rest were made like in a hurry. All of the entries (except the crusader one and mine) were done just with pencil or black pen. No coloring, no technique, nothing. And I heard a rumor that one of them was plagiarized, but I am not sure, so I can't say anything.

Oh, and I couldn't check anyway since all of the pictures were resized and we couldn't check for details... I happened to see them before they were resized and saw details on them... Anyway...

At the end I found that this "drawing and design contest" was just a popularity contest, a la mexicana!

Yes, the best pictures got some votes but the one that won the drawing category was...
(Dear Lord forgive my words, and don't punish me with karma on my upcoming works for this... Since we all know I'm right!)...
A super shitty sketch of a female whitesmith/mastersmith done with pencil, in a hurry, horrible body structure, no charisma, no soul, not even a single signature (oh, the rules said "put your name on it").

Man! I was like WHAT THE FUCK?!
I was expecting the Crusader one to win over mine, maybe since the guy is popular (always lead by one vote over me), and no one can believe that there is someone who can make pictures with the computer (skepticals and n00bs!). But other than that, the pic was nice, and since I lost votes and I am not popular, I wanted him to win. But...

Then I found that the winner was a girl (?) from a guild that is made of friends of the game masters, and most of the members are registered at the forums, so, she/he/it, whatever, won for like 17 votes (the poll was deleted and the topic closed, what a coincidence ¬_¬) and the crusader got 12 and mine 11 votes.

So, we were pwned by a n00b.

To tell you the truth, I am not angry or anything, I am just... Surprised? I'm in disbelief?
I still can't believe that even in a game (since the server is mexican) we are still suffering from the same corruption in the country... Bleh...

I can't complain anyway, and if for whatever reason, a member of the server reads this entry (and can read english), and tells to the staffers, I'll get banned for sure lol
But this is why the friends-only lock exists on LJ! (But I al unlocking the entry) maybe because I don't care if I get banned, since I know I'm right and I don't think I am saying something offensive.
Plus I don't even have enough time to play anymore, plus all my friends, or got banned (for stupid reasons) or do not play right now.


Anyway... Here are my two entries in case that you're curious:

[+] My super mighty-lovely-handsome Professor/Scholar, Lord Cronqvist in SD version.
I made a quick picture of him in normal version, but I "stole" the pose of the original artwork of the Scholar (which, by the way, sucks badly hahaha!) for the background.

I started playing on this server with them.
nekokain's High priest Lukur, and Hinoki's sniper (Hinoki... xD), with my Lord Knight Akira (unbelieveable that the name wasn't taken here). All in chibi version with our fav pets.

*sigh* anyway, the complete pictures without editing, and others I made and finished will be posted on the site within the next update.



New domain problems.

When I thought all my problems with my website were finished, and after some surveys about the new domain name for my castlevania site, I ended up buying "vampirekiller.net".
But what was my surprise?
I can't do anything to redirect it, or even configure it yet since my stuff is being moved to the new hosting platafform. So, I can't do major changes until everything is finished. So.... If you happen to enter to that domain, you'll find just a copy of my main site, with pictures of "bandwidth thief" warnings T_T

Well, well, this gives me more time to finish properly the shrines, but... I wanted it to work fine RITE NAO!!!!!! D: !!!!

Well, all of us have to wait a bit more (this goes beyond my control o_o) for the official re-re-re-re (I already lost count) opening of my castlevania sites.


And bonus rant...


FUCKING ANTS!

We went to the super market on monday and we bought stuff as usual. My parents bought me a cereal box that had almonds and honey.
Ok, at night (same monday) I opened the box, and the bag got damaged and I couln't close it again properly but I left it like that... What would happen?
The cereal had a nice taste.

Well, thursday morning. I want to eat some cereal. I go to the kitchen, I grab the box, open it and... WHAT THE FUCK?! JESUS CHRIST!
The box was filled with ants... ANTS! what,... the ... fuck!!!???

I quicly threw it on the table and opened it more, then I took the bag, and tried to check if the ants were only on the box, but NO!
There were ants spread around the flakes, lots of ants!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
I was so angry! AGH! Just remembering this makes me angry!!! STUPID FUCKING ANTS!

So, I had to sent the box with more ants than flakes to the trash.
DAMN! Such a tasteful cereal, so good that even the ants liked it and ruined it for me ¬¬...


These days have not been as good as I expected compared to the beginning of the month...
