And I have a good reason to be absent, the result will be here shortly.
I don't know if it has been by the medicine that, other than keep me sleepy and weird, my "art-block" and "writer-block" dissapeared from nothing o_o!
So... People who were waiting for pictures or sprites from me, keep an eye here (LJ), I'll post something really, really soon. If I do not feel too lazy, some previews may come later XD

I'll be posting here, because, I am re designing Valhalla HQ (again.......), so, I won't be updating it 'till I finish.
Damn... I get bored so easily of my layouts. I wonder for how long Hwoarang and Castlevania sites are going to stay like that.... Hmmm....

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Time for some rants and the sad news. Yeah, this one makes me really sad.
Ya know, my musical taste is bipolar. Today I can be listening rock, while tomorrow I'll be listening samba o_O (The only thing that never enters in my playlists is reaggeton and "duranguense" 'cause I HATE those "genres".)

Since I was a child, and thanks to my parents I liked mexican music. A big example of this may be Pedro Infante. And no, I am not ashamed of saying that I like mexican, ranchera, norteña and all of that mexican music.

Another of my fav artists was another talented man, Antonio Aguilar.

Today when I turned on the computer, searched the news and newspaper for today (more cheap than buying the newspaper), and found that, after 15 days of staying at the hospital, the great Antonio Aguilar died :'(

He was of the very few COMPLETE artists alive (88 y/o). I am still shocked -___-

Se nos fue uno de los grandes :(
Descanse en paz, Don Antonio y gracias por compartir su talento con el pueblo mexicano!

R.I.P. Don Antonio, and thank you for everything! You were one of the greatest talents on this country!

Damn... Maybe it's the medicine that makes me sensible as hell @.@ but now I watch these videos and almost cry T_T

Shit... All the great talents are leaving us...
Why, Don Antonio? T___T now we'll stay only with shitty artists rbd and lots of wannabe lupillorivera

Pero bueno, de nuevo, gracias Don Antonio, donde quiera que esté, y el pueblo mexicano está con su familia en este difícil momento.

Because we mexican are lazy as hell (o rly? ya rly!!!!) this week most of students and teachers and other school personnel had free days for the teacher/professor day (and mother's day included). So, I had no scholl these days 'till wednesday.
Meanwhile my parents are on a trip checking some family stuff that I usually don't care, I have been almost all these days here, in fron of the computer doing stupid things, since I can't make drawings or sites ('cause my Sephy's still sick!!! T___T) or work on my websites or fanlistings ('cause my site STILL have problems! ToT).

All I can do now is wasting my time and enjoying the DSL or playing some games, 'though I still prefer playing with my good ol' PlayStation consoles than playing here Ragnarok Online (thank you to all of those who invited me to servers and abandoned me! really! thank you!), lately I've been checking some sites and recomendations.

---------------------
First, I've joined to some large communities I found thanks to Sarah and Espiry.
I joined Last.fm and Flixster.
These are fun. Have info, pictures and more about bands, singers (last.fm), actors, movies (flixster).
I wonder if there is a simmilar community but dedicated to games. That would be nice '0'

---------------------
Then, I've been watching all kind of crap on youtube (and opened an account to lurk and maybe upload something someday). Dear Lord! I still can't believe it! You can find almost everything there! And I say, almost, because I didn't find yaoi XD
I found things that I never imagined I would see again, like oooooooooollllllddddddd cartoons like The Real Ghost Busters 0_0
Ah, ah, ah! And the most important thing... Pedro Infante clips! @.@

I found some really nice ones.
If you don't know him, I'd suggest you to watch one of these:

  • Coplas de Dos tipos de cuidado, featuring Pedro Infante and Jorge Negrete. (Pedro is the lovely one with the black clothes... Well, the obscure ones, since the movie is b/w XD)
  • Te quiero asi, from his last movie "Escuela de rateros" T_______T He performed the song with orchestra <3
  • El jacalito, then again Pedro sings in a movie with an impressive falsetto (i guess that's the name) *O*
  • Fallaste corazón, Pedro Infante singing in a movie (as usual) He's drunk here xD
  • Pedro y la Tucita, hahaha! This is one of my fav parts of the movie "Los tres huastecos". The little girl is so cute XD
Here's a small translation, sorry for my horrible english, I hope someone can understand it =_=:
Pedro Infante singing, then dismounts off the horse and sees something moving in the trees. He aproaches to see who's there and finds  a little girl. he grabs her (Tucita) who was holding a gun...
Tucita: No, no, it's not like this, let go off me. I wanted to scare you!
Pedro: To me? Who gave you that gun?
Tucita: I stole it from Bronco when he fell asleep.
Pedro: You, bad girl. Give it to me.
Tucita: No!
Pedro: Don't play with it. It may be loaded.
Tucita: It is! Defend yourself!
Pedro: Do not aim me. Give it to me.
Tucita: Come and get it if you're a man! (or, if youre macho! XD)
*bang*
Pedro: Daughter...
Tucita: *cries*
Pedro: Why are you crying? Is it because you are scared?
Tucita: Nooo! It is because I didn't hit you!
Man(Bronco): What happened?
Pedro: What do you think?... is this how you take care of her?
Bronco: I took a nap and...
Pedro: She aimed me to hit me, and almost did it... See, why are you crying, my girl?
Tucita: Because I didn't kill you.
Pedro: What do you think?
Bronco: Like the father is the daughter. I think it is a crime having your daughter here, Coyote. And I am tired of babysitting her.
Pedro: Heh! I think is she who is babysitting you. Right, Tucita?
Tucita: Yes! And when I grow up... *points to Bronco* I'm going to kill you!
They enter to the house. Pedro gives to the girl a present.
Pedro: Oh, almost forgot... I got a doll for you, take it.
Tucita: And why do I wanna somethin like that?
Pedro: Why? For ya to play with it.
Tucita: That's for grls, and I am very macha (l am very manly XD)

Time to go now.
Read ya!

I miss my blog! My customized blog =(
I had my own layout... My own chocobo mood icons, my own smileys, I was able to add crap like I wanted (wallpaper, winamp, codes, fanlistings...)... But, well, I need first my site issues resolved before I can test that wordpress thingy... Or maybe I'll just re do it again and update manually (again....... ¬¬)... But I'm still not sure.

Damn... I need a new job (and money!, of course) NOW!

Anyway... I'm impressed with this double bass performance. For a moment I felt trapped within a rare instrument with no other use than orchestra support. Almost all cool stuff is for violin, cello... And mine is double bass ToT
But, I've been making some research, and, well, I am not all this lost after all.

I'd like to be in my State's orchestra some day... (LOL, yeah, sure), or a band like Selectro-On, or Bond...
I won't say Mariachi, 'cause there are no female mariachis (so far for what I know =_=) but well, I could try hahaha! I kinda look like a male after all 0_O
Some time ago I met a romanian band named Hara (thanks to Alice Montrose ^^) and I found the video of a song "Muro Shavo" (or is it nuro? now I am confused o_ó) where one of the guys is playing double bass too '0'
Here is a link to the video, I loved their music, by the way. I don't know what the heck do they say XD but their music is very cool. I wish I could buy their discs *-*
These made me like my instrument a bit more ^^ *keeps practicing @___@*

Speaking of music and inspiring musicians, I was like ZOMG!!1!!! when I found Maynard James Keenan on myspace.com *O* <3 <3 <3
And then I was more ZOMGWTFBBQ!11!1!!! when I was added to his 46629...... billions of  friends XD
[sarcasm]LOL oh, yeah, I'm unique!!!![/sarcasm]  XD
Anyway, I like the idea of having him in my list since I admire/adore him a lot! <3
And then, I found Paz Lechantin's myspace too 0.0 another of my fav musicians! She's latina, she's pretty and talented ^^ when I grow up I want to be like her XD

By the way... Happy mothers day! (It was yesterday may 10th XD)
I don't know where else, aside from Mexico this day is celebrated, but here it is.
My dad and I were with my mom and we prepared mole *0* (THIS is mole and check here for more mole XD)
Everything was nice, except that because I feel like an insect, since I had no money to buy something for my mom T___T (then again... I NEED a new job NOW!)

Read ya!
*goes to watch Bleach 125*

Thank you so much for answering my last topic!

I sent it and some other proof to my host. I hope they can be able to do something about it, because it is starting to stress me, because I can't update or work with my FL collective >(

Yeah, no matter if I update a site, since not all people will be able to see it. It resets all my FTP users too...
Then, I was thinking in using finally the Enth script to manage my collective, but when I was testing the area, the site went stupid again showing outdated pages and bouncing my databases ARGH!!!!!

....................................... *sigh*

Anyway... looong time ago, rolling channels on tv, a weird show catched my attention. Well, not the show, what got my attention was the band that was playing in there.
I like electronic music so much. I like instrumental/classic music so much too!
This band was playing a song named "Whap and Go", and this was really curious, since, when you pronounce it, it is "Huapango", a mexican music style.
Well then, I stared at the tv like an idiot, listening to the music, waiting for the name of the band, and finally!

The band name is "Selectro-On", and they are mexican! °O°
They were just starting their career as a band with a very interesting style.
Their style, for what I can judge, is fresh and original. They are mixing electronic music, with classical and... Mariachi! °O°
I never heard something like that before °_° indeed, it was original and sounds cool (at least for my taste).

From that day, I started to search their disc, but indeed they took quite some time to release it. I just heard the single "Whap and Go", and this one has a nice video, kinda anime-ish style.
You don't need to read or listen to lyrics since, there are no lyrics! and the video ir really self explanatory XD (Poor dude T__T)
Here is a link to it. (the owner of the account is a member of the studio that made this video, btw) The animation is very well done and smooth. For the author's comments, all drawings were done by hand o.o

I don't know if there are more videos (other than live concerts), but this one was really good, and the song too!
I am still trying to buy their disc, can you believe it? o_o! I'll try to buy it this month. Damned stores here have everything but what I want >(
I am tempted to buying it online but I still have problems with my card. I think I'm going to open an account in another bank just for the sake of online buying, since mine do not allow it with my card yet >_<

You can listen some samples o their site http://www.selectro-on.com/
This one is in spanish, but well, just click on "ENTRAR AL SITIO" and in the bottom left corner there is a small sample flash player ^^
Or you can click on "DESCARGAS" to download a special mix of "Whap and Go".
And... Why not pay a visit to the animation studio page too? XD http://www.haini.com.mx/

Well then, this band is one of my top favs so far and I just wanted to make some promotion here XD hahaha!
Oh, speaking of music and all that jazz... I opened a Last.FM account these days, thanks to Sarah who invited me to check the site XD (How the heck can I instert a LJ user link here >___<?)
It is very interesting, you can learn a lot of bands and singers in there o.o
I posted the music chart thingy in my site, although I don't think people can see it yet.
Here is the link to my page http://www.last.fm/user/akirarodhernan/

Well, gotta go. Enoy and read ya!
