Believe it or not... This was the quickest update on VHQ since... Years o_O
And this was why in the past update I didn't add pictures. I wanted to add them with this update just for a special case. And I didn't add all of them anyway. I totally forgot to restore backups from last three months, so, I'll add them within the next update when I feel less lazy to restore info, search for the pics, then resize, edit and all that jazz.
The update for today is quite special since I added a new layout!. Mostly, I added the "skin" feature.
I just have to say that I am quite satisfied with the new layout, first because I LOVE my character, hahaha! And second because it looks cleaner than the past one. By the way, I re-arranged sections again, nothing was deleted, just moved.

What's new today?
Fan Artwork gallery : 3 pictures.
Extras : Other graphics : Tag/Avatar sets gallery for Valhalla HQ Guild members : 1 set added (Decapri).

Other changes
[+] Added the "skin" feature to the site. You can access to them from the 'index' page.
[+] Moved the "Affiliates" to the "Links" section.
[+] Moved the "Comics" to the "Extras" section.
[+] Deleted the "recomendación" banner.
[+] Changed almost all the buttons to link back to VHQ. Mostly one per skin, and some extra buttons. (All of them suck anyway, lol)
[+] Clenaed the links section. Although I think there are still some broken links. I may do double check tomorrow.
[+] Added a new link to the "Art sites" to sapphiriss's website.
[+] The visitor counter now is supossed to be like text.

Looks like now my updates for Valhalla HQ are starting to look like "monthly updates", but well, at least I am finally making real updates on it instead of nothing.

The update for today is quite different since I didn't add pictures.
Yes I have some new ones, I already posted two of them here some days ago, but I want to post them within the next update.
Today I just added some new guides (courtesy of the lovely nekokain), some sprite works by me (mostly lame editions), and some small changes and revisions here and there.

What's new today?

Other small changes
[+] Revised the Whitesmith/Mastersmith forging mini guide. Some grammar errors and added the suggestion to use a Deviruchi or Lunatic.
[+] Changed the chocobo picture in the "Contact me" section for a button with a... Chocobo!
[+] Changed my profile avatar... Again! lol
[+] Fixed the broken links on the Contact form, again...Dammit!





PS: If I see another fucking advertisement comment like in my past update regarding to RO mini guides, I'm gonna get mad and gotta report it D:

A "decent" update, I guess...
I am not sure if this update is worth or not, but I was so bored and I decided to make an update, although I have no idea if most people will be available to see it, because of the hosting maintenance I mentioned somewhere...

Anyway, I'll troublecheck that later when everything gets fixed.
Ah, and as I mentioned too, the section called "For you" is growing. I opened the sub section for wallpapers with 2 horrible old wallpapers I had in previous versions of VHQ, and a new one with a new picture I made this month.
They are not great but at least I am making something more "productive" lately... I guess... Since I am trying to draw again. I still have some pictures pending. Looks like these are going to be the updates for the old stuff instead of making new one. Now you'll see why I say this...

Other updates

[+] Added a Last.FM chart to my profile.
[+] Fixed the "Network" section. Why? I didn't like how it was arranged.
[+] Fixed the "Links" section and added a small section for shrines and other fan sites.
[+] Fixed the broken links on the Contact form.
[+] Deleted the "Mature content Gallery" banner. Being reasonable, I won't open it in a long time, so, why I am keeping it in there?

Small update on VHQ with a new section

I have not been in the mood for drawing, but I started to work in other areas. I am testing some new interesting programs where I am spending my time now, other than Photoshop, and I like it!
I hope soon you can see what I am talking about.

Anyway, in the meantime, I decided to make some small guides and tutorials for my visitors. I started with a quick Ragnarok Online guide, dedicated to the forging Blacksmith/Whitesmith.
It is in spanish 'though, because the server where I play is latino.
I am translating my Hunter/Sniper guides too, but for now here is the BS/WS, errr, "guide".

With this, I opened a new section, called "For you". I'll be posting everything for the visitors, like those "guides", tutorials, wallpapers, icons and more.

Valhalla HQ lives!!!

I managed to escape from RO to spend my free time in something more productive, first for my own sanity, and then because I have my site-babies abandoned. I still play, but not as often as before.
I think I stayed all the "Guadalupe-Reyes Marathon" playing it @___@ omg...
Anyway... I finally have Valhalla HQ online again! Reloaded XD

New features:
[+] New layout! (Don't laugh >_>)I used the artwork I made fot the game cover contest. I am not satisfied at all with the design, but it looks better than the last one... I guess...
[+] "Recommended site" banner rotation. There are three links on rotation so far. I do not plan to add new ones for now.
[+] Solid content: No more dead link or "coming soon" links. I just have the "Mature gallery" section offline, but other than that, everything is on.
[+] Galleries were shortened. A lot of pictures were deleted, sorry. But some others were just sent to the "Junk" section.
[+] No more JavaScript windows. I got tired of it, don't ask why. But you still can navigate from the Gallery viewer clicking on "Previous - Next".
[+] F.A.Q. shortened. It includes questions related to the network. It is not the General network F.A.Q., but it may help while I finish the other one.
[+] Quick navigation. Since the site got quite smaller, now you can view around easily without trouble. I hate clicking here and there and over there just to find a fucking section.
[+] Every recently updated section will have an exclamation symbol like this one for easy recognition.
[+] Newest pictures will have a yellow border.
[+] And some more... Just explore around =D

As probably no one noted, Valhalla HQ is "down".
I lost count of how many times I've taken down that site, but I have a good reason for it this time.






It is under a ver well deserved revamp. I had no idea that my old coding wasn't working. Dor whatever reason, the header and footer for the gallery view ended up in errors while loading, so, I have to use another stuff now.

Well, of course, a new ugly layout is on the way. It is done and everything, but I am re arranging the content (specially for what I mentioned above).
All of the unused sections are gone, so, you won't find any more dead sections.
No more "upcoming" sections because I know how it feels when you enter to a site and all you find are horrible letterings sayin' "coming soon" or "content upcoming" and stuff like that... Or, worst, a 404 error. (This goes as well for my CV and Hwoarang sites).

Most of my old artworks are going to be deleted, except for those that some of my friends told me that I shoudn't delete because they were funny... I wonder if that was a sarcasm o_O
Anyway, those are going to be sent to the Junk section.

My writings... Oh dear Lord... I still have no intentions of uploading those. you know, things happen for a reason.
My proofreader is busy, my translator is busy... I am busy plus uninspired... So, yeah... Nothing has happened and instead of keep my very few visitors waiting for it, I'll say that I won't add anything.

The only writtings are going to stay, are those old mediocre reviews I made for local fanzines and websites.

I'll post again when I finish the site. I'll re open it someday in january.
Meanwhile, I am still cleaning my other sites.
